During incubation insulin in the sample reacts withperoxidase-conjugated anti-insulin antibodies and anti-insulin antibodiesbound to the microtitration well. A simple washing step removes unboundenzyme labeled antibody. The bound conjugate is detected by reaction with3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine.
